Ilene Crysler Bosscher

Currently, Ilene is in private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor, and a Registered Play Therapist. She specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families.  Ilene has earned degrees in Business, Counseling, Theology, and is currently working on a dissertation to complete a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy.  She has authored several articles on medical marriages and families as well as physician's careers and burnout.

Ilene is a committed community volunteer who spent 12 years volunteering in several capacities in her community before beginning her private practice.  She has held many board and committee positions at the local, state, and national levels and continues currently serving as President of the Kentucky Association for Play Therapy, Member of The CE and Registration Committee of the Association for Play Therapy, and Chair of the American Medical Association Alliance Physician Burnout Committee.

Ilene shares her life with her husband of 39 years, their 5 adult children and their 7 grandchildren.
